Silk cap Wearing a sleep cap will stop hair rubbing against the pillowcase and prevents curls from becoming messy and tangled. Silk also has smoothing properties which is advantageous to hair which is naturally curly or prone to frizz, by keeping it moisturised and soft.
Satin is cheaper than silk, but I prefer to use natural fibers then silk, its your best option. The silk cap is known to maintain the natural oils in your hair and allows less friction between your hair and other surfaces such as cotton sheets and pillowcases.

Washing instructions
Turn your silk cap inside out or place inside an old pillowcase or Laundry bag to protect your silk.
Place-silk cap in the washing machine on a cold or warm cycle with a maximumwater temperature of 30C, use a gentle detergent.
Use the lowest temperature setting on your iron when ironing, turn your silk pillow caseinside out.
